Learn strategies for identifying and successfully initiating difficult conversations with families.
Throughout this interactive workshop, participants will develop check-lists of action items and explore techniques to stay focused. We will also practice active listening as well as how to start difficult conversations and follow up afterwards. Handouts will be provided.
About the Facilitator
An experienced Early Childhood Educator and Facilitator Kim Pender has been working in the Child Care field for over 30 years. She has Diplomas in Early Childhood Education and Adult Education. She is the owner of West Coast Parenting Consultants and works with families, infants, toddlers, preschoolers, children with exceptionalities and adolescences. She has been sharing her experiences and presenting informative workshops for several years.
