About the facilitators
Maureen Doll is the current Family Service Director at the Kamloops Community YMCA-YWCA. She has been an active PGMGP facilitator for over 10 years, and one of the four program trainers in BC. Maureen sits on the National and Program & Training and Provincial PCMGP Steering Committees. Her work for the past 25 years within the social services, child protection and the early years sector is a driving force behind her passion for parent-child attachment based programs like the PCMGP. “The PCMG Program® is one that all families can benefit from.”
Crystal Murgatroyd is passionate about enriching the lives of families through the power and the pleasure of songs, rhymes and stories. Crystal is the Family Outreach and Parent-Child Mother Goose Program Coordinator for the Kamloops Community YMCA/YWCA. Crystal coordinates over 70 Mother Goose groups each year across Kamloops and surrounding region, as well as virtually. She works hard to ensure that Parent-Child Mother Goose groups are accessible to all families in her community, and is the force behind the development of a virtual platform. Crystal brings an innovation and creativity to her role, adapting Mother Goose programs in her area to strengthen connections and relationships during a global pandemic. Crystal is a trained P-CMG facilitator, and has a background in psychology, infant and child development, and supporting children with diverse needs. Her goal is to welcome thousands of people each year to fall in love with singing, rhyming, storytelling, and learning together.
